Couture Lines

Fashion Worth Plundering

I have recently finished working on a collection entitled "Fashion Worth Plundering." The fashion line is based on 18th century pirates, with dark bohemian gypsy flavour. I drew my inspiration from my environment, history and fantasy to fuse the free spirits of pirates with a Victorian silhouette.  My color palate is a mixture of earthy warm browns and vibrant greens and deep red wine, with hints of black, purple, and silver. My garments of choice are the well fitted, tailored coats and elegantly laced corsets.

My debut in the 15th Annual NBCCD fashion show Style to Walk: A Fierce Fashion Affair has been my greatest learning experience. I dream of entering the costume design world, bringing with me my passion for period costumes and couture fashions. Photos all by Jeff Crawford.
